Release of v. 9.2 – "Schoeberg 150 Years"

We are pleased to announce the publication of v. 9.2 of Musica Theorica. This issue includes the dossier “Schoenberg 150 years”, which comprises studies that range from the reception of his work and his twelve-tone technique in Brazil to the critical review of some of his theoretical concepts and the analysis of his works. Five articles on varied topics complete the issue. These address the planning and use of systems in composition, the issue of representing complex metrics, the latent functionality of Scriabin's Masque, and the analysis of harmonic, formal and aesthetic aspects of Grażina Bacewicz's Polish Capriccio.
